Balance Sheet Mgmt Ld Analyst - C13/VP - TAMPA
The Liquidity Management (LM) team within the Citi Treasury Global Function is responsible for establishing the framework for sizing liquidity requirements including internal stress testing framework, developing contingency funding plans in conjunction with other stakeholders within and outside Citi Treasury, providing liquidity oversight to Citi’s global entities, and ensuring that Citi maintains adequate liquidity appropriately positioned to meet the company’s global needs both in normal market conditions as well as during periods of stress.
The Balance Sheet Mgmt Ld Anlst is a professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business. Typically a small number of people within the business that provide the same level of expertise. Excellent communication skills required in
order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice
regarding the operations of the business.
Responsibilities:
• Contribute to coordination of liquidity risk committee and forums as well as coordinate meeting materials for monthly regulatory meetings
• Drive innovation, challenge current thinking and contribute to initiatives to streamline and standardize governance for the liquidity risk stripe
• Own certain forum secretarial duties such as facilitation of the meeting, agenda setting, material collection, charter maintenance and meeting minutes.
• Coordinate certain firm-wide committee submissions for liquidity
• Advise on liquidity governance changes or enhancements as part of target state initiatives across Liquidity Management and Treasury
• Reviews committee materials to ensure that any risks are appropriately reviewed and challenged when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by complying with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting issues with transparency.
• Direct governance project prioritization and future state planning and strategic direction.
• Develop an understanding of Citi’s balance sheet as well as data and technology infrastructures supporting the liquidity reporting and monitoring processes.
• Develop an understanding into various facets of Risk and Finance Processes within Citi; interacting with various levels within the organization.
• Perform other duties and functions as assigned
Qualifications:
6-10 years of experience in Finance
Balance Sheet, Treasury, Liquidity, Risk, Audit, Compliance or other governance experience
Familiarity with Liquidity Regulations (Regulation YY and Regulation WW)
Problem-solving skills but also the ability to see the big picture
Excellent communication, negotiation and coordination skills are imperative i.e. ability to make complex subjects easily digestible for senior management
Exercises proven Power Point skills; ability to tell a story concisely in Power Point
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Ability to interact with all levels of management
Must be a team player
Education:
- Bachelors degree, potentially Masters degree
You must live in the Tampa area and report to the office two times per week for this role.

$113,840.00 - $170,760.00
