The Core Accounts Transformation Product Specialist is a strategic professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business. Excellent communication skills required to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence, and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers. Accountable for significant direct business results or authoritative advice regarding the operations of the business. Necessitates a degree of responsibility over technical and migration strategy. Strong expertise as a Product leader responsible for managing broad constructs in a complex, global ecosystem inclusive of strategic planning, product performance management, and client experience optimization is essential. Deep working knowledge of risk management practices and control framework inherent to managing global products is also required.


Responsibilities:

  • Partners across product disciplines, assists in managing the overall performance of a given product suite and monitors performance drivers for the products and portfolios

  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining the Product Construct migration offering defining segment, products, features, functionality, and value proposition for clients across the target state ecosystems

  • Drive collaboration across key partners to document a cohesive product construct roadmap and program plan inclusive of right placement activities, enhancements, and new product introductions

  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise to the internal migration team regarding product/capability mapping to meet desired Minimal Viable Product migrations targets and advocate the Client experience to ideate solutions to minimize client impacts during migrations

  • Serve as liaison for segment product owners and the migrations readiness team regarding migration program status updates, product related issues/resolution

  • Support the Client Change Management team regarding Client impact and required readiness efforts associated with defined product mapping constructs associated with migrations

  • Gathers data, performs analysis, and drives recommendations and/or solutions for complex problem statements

  • Implements performance improvement strategies including the development of competitive analyses, market analyses, product development road maps, market plans, pricing strategies and product line extensions

  • Represent customer needs and provide strategic direction on product development features, functionality, and overall competitiveness

  • Builds consensus and awareness of value proposition throughout the organization and key partners

  • Participates in and prepares materials for the Product Approval Program and related processes, ensures products are delivered and adhere to all parameters globally

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including technology, operations, legal, implementations, and sales to deliver comprehensive solutions for Citi clients

  • Manages product risk and control, documentation, credit, legal and regulatory risk, and manage transactional P&L through business drivers, and profitability ratios

  • Analyzes vertical/product specific indicators to ensure goals are being met

  • Participates in/facilitates product discussions with partners in asset distribution, legal, credit risk, operations, and systems capabilities to ensure seamless delivery of program expansions

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in product management, with emphasis in transformation or migrations

  • Enterprise mindset and analytical thinker with ability to solve complex problems

  • Adept in Microsoft office products and ability to support in depth analysis

  • Exceptional communicator, with well-developed written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to influence at all levels within the organization and work confidently in a highly matrixed environment

  • Ability to drive consensus across various stakeholder groups and foster an environment amenable for change

  • Level of expertise and demonstrated experience in Product Management, Program Management, and/or Product Development discipline

  • Experience in and understanding of logistics or Industrial verticals experience with e-commerce solutions

  • Ability to make complex judgments, perform complex analysis, and provide solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought comparing and selecting complex alternatives

  • In-depth quantitative or qualitative analysis to solve problems and develop new, innovative solutions

  • Ability to apply ingenuity and creativity to problem analysis and resolution in complicated and/or novel situations

  • Developed diplomacy skills are required to guide, influence, and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers

  • Experience with and confidence in delivering presentations to partners and senior leaders


Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$130,880.00 - $196,320.00
