KYC Senior Technology Lead Business Analyst - C13 (Hybrid)
The SMB Know Your Customer (KYC) Ops Organization is an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) function within the SMB business that is responsible globally for ensuring SMB meets the standards mandated by Corporate AML/Compliance and external regulators.
Within the SMB KYC Ops Organization, the Global Business Solutions team is responsible for partnering with Operations, Business, Compliance and Technology in gathering, vetting, prioritizing and implementing KYC business requirements and solutions on the CitiKYC technology platform.
The KYC Senior Technical Business Analyst will be responsible for the 1) development of business requirements and solutions, 2) support of testing, organization readiness, communication & training for all releases on the CitiKYC platform in support of our regulatory obligations. In addition, this role will provide L3 Production Business Help Desk support.
In parallel, Citi is undertaking a modernization of its KYC platform to streamline clients’ lifecycle. The program seeks to leverage the latest technology to build a rules-based platform focusing on automation. The platform will enable an improved client experience through simplification and adoption of client facing applications/portals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Author Business and Functional Requirements Documents (BRD’s / FRD’s) for SMB KYC related applications
- Liaise with KYC Ops, AML Compliance, Business Groups, Technology, PBWM and other Lines of Business to gather, translate and understand the impact of user enhancement requests into detailed business requirements
- Propose and gain consensus on future state processes with focus on operational efficiencies and improved customer experience
- In collaboration with functional partners, assist in the facilitation of global prioritization processes to evaluate, prioritize business requirements, representing SMB in cross-functional forums
- Support the development of various project plans, test plans and change management plans for the rollout of CitiKYC enhancements to various SMB Businesses and subsequent releases.
- Understand, prepare and support the broader AML/KYC processes and infrastructure, including transaction monitoring, client onboarding, account opening, renewals and screening
- Identify and escalate challenges to a successful and timely rollout of CitiKYC releases
- Build and maintain a work-class organization focused around talent, learning, and opportunity
Qualifications:
- A proven track record with solid 8+ years of relevant AML/KYC Business Analysis work experience. Experience in financial Institutional, preferably global; corporate and consumer banking experience, a plus
- Knowledge and working experience within a Solutions Development Lifecycle (SDLC) framework; Agile / Jira experience, preferred
- Proactive and able to work under own initiative. Self-starter, challenges status quo
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Effective prioritization and time management
- Exceptional ability to influence and motivate partners to the KYC process
- Strong leadership and relationship/team building skills
- Strong analytical / issue resolution skills and attention to detail; ability to think clearly in challenging situations
- Experience with MS Office Tools
- Project Management experience, a plus
- Knowledge and working experience across all areas of Institutional Clients – TTS, SFS/Custody, Global Banking, Markets and Private Banking, a plus
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent (experience more important than degree)

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$103,920.00 - $155,880.00
