Sourcing Manager/Senior Sourcing Lead Analyst- Vice President
The Sourcing Manager/Sr. Sourcing Lead Analyst will join the Customer Loyalty & Rewards/Advertising & Marketing Business Procurement team within Procurement & Third-Party Management.
The Sourcing Manager/Sr. Sourcing Lead Analyst leads the global strategic sourcing process for designated spend categories such as Creative, Media, Gift Cards, Rewards Travel, Card Benefits, and others. The focus of this role is to provide strategic value and to mitigate risks for the business and Citi’s customers.
Responsibilities include and are not limited to the following:
Stakeholder Management: Adds value as a Subject Matter Expert for categories. Provides excellent support of critical client initiatives as a trusted advisor and for the sourcing process through category strategies. The Sourcing Manager/Sr. Sourcing Lead Analyst has a robust understanding of the strategic business direction, operational processes, supplier capabilities and develops high quality supplier contracts that reduce risks to optimize spend. Is accountable for creating and presenting to cross-functional forums in partnership with the business to execute supplier strategies and contracts.
Risk Management: Function as a risk gatekeeper for third-party relationships to assess risk and ensure compliance with Citi policies by partnering with Business Activity Owners (BAOs), other compliance units and/or audits. Drives timely and quality remediation and ensures effective escalation for identified risks.
Strategic Sourcing: Independently leads a book of work across spend categories for Advertising/Marketing and/or Customer Loyalty & Rewards supplier services and applies sound judgement for daily tasks. The Sourcing Manager/Sr. Sourcing Lead Analyst provides a holistic view of supplier relationships across Citi, collaborates with regional procurement colleagues in APAC/EMEA, benchmark services, pricing and leads negotiations. Has experience leading sourcing processes such as eAuction, eRFXs (Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).
Contracting:
The Sourcing Manager leads the contracting process from end-to-end by collaborating with groups across Citi such as Legal, Compliance and support audits as needed. This includes drafting high-quality Master Services Agreements, Work Orders and associated Amendments and Addendums that reduce risks for Citi. The Sourcing Manager/Sr. Sourcing Lead Analyst understands contractual language and proposes acceptable options while leading negotiations in partnership with Legal and the Business.
Data Analysis: The Sourcing Manager/Sr. Sourcing Lead Analyst owns the accuracy of the data for their managed projects and contracts in Procurement’s project and contract management system (GEP). The Sourcing Manager/Sr. Sourcing Lead Analyst is responsible for analyzing spend data and proposals, supplier evaluations, developing price comparisons and models, calculating cost savings, and creating simplified data summaries for presentations (Advanced Excel and PowerPoint Preferred).
Leadership: Takes Ownership – leads and manages multiple projects simultaneously with limited-direct supervision. Proactively meets with business owners, leads effective meetings to take projects/contracts to completion and finds feasible solutions. The Sourcing Manager/Sr. Sourcing Lead Analyst is responsible for identifying cost-savings opportunities and delivering savings to achieve team targets. Communication: Conveys information in a clear and compelling manner that informs, guides, or influences others. Participates in and proactively engages in strategic discussions with the business, identifies timelines, pipelines, initiatives, goals and metrics for project planning and category strategy management.
Minimum Qualifications:
7+ years of relevant sourcing or procurement experience within a global organization.
Demonstrated strategic sourcing/procurement and stakeholder management experience.
Experience working in a large, global, and highly matrixed organization.
Expertise in leading and managing the strategic sourcing process including the development of negotiation plans and leading commercial and contractual negotiations from end-to-end.
Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and eProcurement and invoice payment tools. Experience leading sourcing processes such as eAuction, eRFXs (Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs).
Preferred qualifications: Financial services background including experience and knowledge of associated supplier and categories. Certified Purchase Professional (CPM), Project Management (PMP), Consulting experience.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree/university degree or equivalent experience. Master’s degree preferred.

$103,920.00 - $155,880.00
