Overview of the Role:
The Regulatory Data Engagement and TBE Reporting Lead will be part of Citi’s Technology & Business Enablement (T&BE) team and report to the T&BE Regulatory Management Lead
This role provides a unique opportunity to see across Citi, which is tasked with improving engagements with regulators and transforming how we do business at the foundational level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the T&BE Regulatory Management Team with the development and execution of the overall regulatory relationship strategy (inclusive of quarterly progress reports, formal examinations, on-going supervisions, ad-hoc regulatory deliverables).
- Lead the management of tasks and responsibilities associated with the planning, directing, coordination and support of day-to-day activities regarding key regulator interactions and initiatives for T&BE.
- Project manage key initiatives and routine deliverables across T&BE by tracking progress of team deliverables and coordinating consistent horizontal responses where needed; Provide review and challenge of responses to ensure regulatory feedback is addressed.
- Develop and maintain a disciplined, routine schedule for meetings with key regulators.
- Work collaboratively across the organization to ensure thorough prep sessions and centrally maintained agendas, materials and talking points with clear roles for all key regulatory meetings.
- Ensure all regulatory meeting communications, follow-ups and commitments are centrally documented and acted upon according to Global Regulatory Engagement principles and guidelines and maintain a disciplined follow up and tracking approach for any open items.
- Develop key themes from regulatory interactions for management reporting / consumption.
- Conduct reviews of non-US regulator interactions, materials, and written responses to ensure consistent messaging across regulatory agencies.
- Ensure the Regulatory Event Tracking (RET) system is updated for relevant interactions.
- Prepare management materials and presentations, including supervisory themes and trends.
- Actively inform and update senior management about ongoing and upcoming regulatory examinations, as well as status of open regulatory issues and action items.
- Ability to interact with individuals across Citi at all levels, businesses, and locations, providing a broad understanding of the organization while building relationships throughout Citi.
- Support, oversee, and enhance T&BE’s regulatory engagement reporting routines, including materials preparation and creation / maintenance of process documentation.
- Lead the delivery of quality, standardized and consistent materials and reporting for executive leadership, governance committees, and Board materials.
- Implement and maintain the use of standardized tools and templates in the global execution of regulatory engagements
- Perform regular monitoring routines across the technology business globally to ensure consistency and compliance with the regulatory governance framework requirements.
- Participate in the monitoring routines and partnership with Regulatory Engagement, ICRM, Risk, Internal Audit and Legal, as well as other Citi sectors (where appropriate for firm wide examinations) to ensure consistency and compliance with the regulatory governance framework requirements.
- Establish partnership and communications protocol with Citigroup regulatory engagement teams to ensure consistency in approach and communications across the group, as well as provide regular status updates on progress for certain efforts and issues.
- Partner across the Technology businesses, Legal, Compliance, Internal Audit, and Risk Management functions to drive accountability to deliver on regulatory requirements, including coordination of drafting of regulatory response letters for owned matters.

Qualifications:
- 8 -10+ years of relevant experience financial services, regulatory engagement or consulting, particularly involving writing and copy-editing.
- Proven leadership in managing documents and timely deliverables.
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- Requires communication and diplomacy skills in order to guide and influence others.
- Experience and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment.
- Understanding and application of project management methodologies across delivery life cycle.
- Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions.
- Extremely proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; database and report writing knowledge is a plus.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$170,000.00 - $300,000.00
