VP, Third Party Risk & Onboarding Specialist
This particular Business Risk Officer will be dedicated to the onboarding process for Markets Third Parties. The candidate will be responsible for managing the onboarding of external third-parties such as FMI, Broker, Business Applications, Market Data and others as required by the Third Party Management Policy. This position requires in depth business product knowledge and expertise and will be responsible for supporting the Markets stakeholders throughout the onboarding process. The Onboarding Specialist will work in concert with Business Activity Owners (BAOs), Third Party Officers (TPOs), Sourcing, business operations and technology teams and other internal functions. This role will have a global remit.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the onboarding of Markets third party relationships and set expectations with stakeholders regarding the process.
- Work closely with business partners on completing all requirements of the onboarding process (i.e. risk assessment, due diligence process, contracting).
- Stay abreast of procedural implementation and change management processes to ensure proper governance and controls exist.
- Track progress of onboarding and complete necessary follow ups.
- Maintain dashboard of onboardings along with cycle times and reporting.
- Track issue management along with risk exceptions and effectively communicate risks resulting from those issues.
- Escalate emerging risks as appropriate.
- Manage multiple projects with differing levels of risk and due dates.
- Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
- Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years relevant work experience in Business Risk & Controls
- 5+ years’ experience in financial services
- Sourcing / Procurement and Third Party Risk experience a plus
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Effective organizational influencing skills required
- Demonstrated ability to lead global team efforts
- Education: Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:
$103,920.00 - $155,880.00
