Team/Role Overview:

The Financial Reporting Intermediate Analyst - Client Reporting is an intermediate level position responsible for the generation, tracking and submission of financial reports in coordination with the Finance Team. The overall objective of this role is to accurately prepare and report business/financial transactions, reports and statements in accordance with local regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the analysis and submission of Client Reporting details based on requirements such as US GAAP, US Regulatory, and local statutory reporting

  • Assist with the review of general ledger information used in Client Reporting for accuracy and completeness

  • Perform analysis of financial results and conclude cause of variances such as accounting issues and economic events

  • Assist in the Production of metrics for management highlighting key issues and remediation status and maintain and enhance related operational and analytical procedures

  • Identify and resolve problems using basic Finance knowledge, escalating as needed.

  • Assist with the implementation of workflow design for the team

  • Assist with the management of one or more processes relating to General Ledger review and analysis for Client Reporting

  • Assist with projects and initiatives relating to data quality impacting client reporting

  • Execute processes and procedures within defined parameters

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel

  • Experience working with digital tools such as Tableau

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
