Senior Lead Business Analyst - Finance / Valuation Control

Team/Role Overview:
We are seeking an outstanding candidate for a senior/lead position to join our Design & Execution Team within the Valuation Control Group (VCG) which is part of the Finance Controllers organization.
This role is critical and influential in helping shape and drive process and technology change as well as lead innovation across the group.
The VCG Design & Execution team is primarily responsible for defining and implementing the Firm’s vision of a best in class Valuation Control function.
What you'll do:
Working alongside the broader VCG team to design and implement a Best In Class Finance function
Delivery of business requirement and user-acceptance testing for Valuation Control programs, in line with Citi documentation standards
Partnering with Technology to deliver the right infrastructure tools and solutions aligned to both the Valuation Control vision and best in class Finance direction
Appropriately assessing risks and issues related to the projects and ensuring timely and effective escalation
Stakeholder management covering global Valuation Control teams and leads, Technology partners and Internal Audit
Creating ideas and insight of how the Valuation Control process can be improved, simplified and operate more effectively
Support change management design, development, delivery and management of communications; Lead roll out changes with key stakeholders
Act as point of contact for leaders within Valuation Control, helping them fulfil the role of change sponsor
Create actionable deliverables and drive the agenda forward
Track and provide regular report updates; Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
Inspire colleagues to work collaboratively to support learning and achieve superior results; leverage diverse styles and backgrounds to expand thinking, speed learning and improve effectiveness.
Ownership of process and systems improvements, incorporating key control alignment
What we'll need from you:
At least 10 years of work experience preferred, although exceptional candidates who do not meet this criteria may be considered for the role
Experience in business analyst role for complex system implementation projects
Knowledge of the software development lifecycle
Finance and/or Product Control / Valuation Control experience is preferred
Familiarity with advanced data tools (e.g. Python, KNIME, etc) will be an advantage
Leadership skills / people management experience will be an advantage
Strong planning & organisational skills; advanced analytical skills
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, ability to deal with a range of senior/junior staff across a number of disciplines
Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed information; Confident and able to achieve objectives via working with and influencing others
Must have resilience, tenacity and a desire & passion to succeed in a fast moving, dynamic and forward looking environment
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
- Master’s degree preferred
