Team/Role Overview
This role is for a Software Engineering Lead responsible for developing solutions to maintain accurate accounting of all IT hardware and software in use across the globe at Citi. Direct role will be split across two different technology stacks, responsible for oversight and direct of a federated GraphQL API as well as discovery and classification of installed and running software binaries found via server scanning tools.
What you’ll do
As a Software Engineering Lead, you’ll be expected to perform daily development activities, reviewing and optimizing existing code base while handling new feature developments and resolving bug tickets.
Serve as a technology subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders and provide direction for all firm mandated controls and compliance initiatives, all projects within the group and in creating a technology domain roadmap
Ensure that all integration of functions meet business goals
Define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process enhancements
Recommend product customization for system integration
Identify problem causality, business impact and root causes
What we’ll need from you
5-7 years in Object Oriented Programming or Functional Programming languages such as Java, Python, Spark
5-7 years in experience in Relational Database technologies - SQL , Oracle, and/or Postgres
Experience in all phases of ETL protocols and implementing data quality best practices to ensure timely, accurate, comprehensive, and complete data
Experience developing and optimizing REST and GraphQL API interfaces
Experience with all phases of Agile development
Advocate for developer/development best practices including source code management, continuous integration, development, and deployment
