Background & Position Summary
The Branded Cards business serves 30+ million customer relationships across the US, processing 5+ billion purchase transactions annually, with $500+ billion in sales volume, and over $90+ billion in customer loans. We offer a combination of class leading proprietary value propositions such as the Citi Simplicity, Citi Double Cash, and Citi Rewards products as well as co-branded credit cards with iconic industry leaders such as Costco, American Airlines and AT&T. These value propositions are supported by our proprietary Thank You rewards program, a broad range of digital lending programs such as Flex Loan and Flex Pay, and industry leading digital experiences delivered through Citi Online and the Citi Mobile app.
Citi Value (Non-Rewards) is a prominent portfolio in the Branded Cards business. Value team manages 3 acquiring products (Simplicity, Diamond Preferred and Secured Card) and is part of the larger Branded Cards Product Management organization – responsible for Product and Business operations (P&L responsibility, Strategy and Planning, Budgeting, Strategic Initiatives), New Product Development (Innovation, Portfolio Strategy, Product Development, Product Launch), Marketing Strategy (Targeting, Messaging, Communication strategies) and Customer Experience (all aspects of our Card members’ experience through all channels).
This role will be a day-to-day manager of Secured Card ensuring seamless product operation across the full customer life cycle from acquisitions to graduation off the product into Diamond Preferred.
Key Responsibilities
The objective of the position is to manage the Secured Card product from end-to-end. The role is responsible for the Secured P&L and for the financial performance for this product. Other product management responsibilities cover managing product acquisitions, overseeing customer engagement and ensuring the product operates within our risk and controls frameworks. Given the nature of the Secured Card product, this role will also focus on operational management of processes supporting this product. A successful candidate will be the go-to on Secured product and will partner across the organization to address Secured Card customer needs.
- Manage Secured Card performance including forecasting and tracking in-year results
- Manage existing customer experiences across customer touch points (acquisitions, onboarding, engagement and graduation), including managing associated marketing assets
- Collaborate with cross functional partners including marketing, digital and analytics to evaluate and execute Secured Card initiatives
- Monitor competitive landscape and identify relevant market changes
- Oversee operational processes across credit ops, acquisitions, customer servicing and deposit gathering
- Drive timely identification and resolution of issues and ensure appropriate controls are in place for owned processes
- Engage in Financial Inclusion and Racial Equity (FI&RE) efforts as the subject expert for Secured Card
Candidate Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
- Strong drive and initiative – practical mindset towards planning and getting things done
- Strong communication skills particularly in writing
- Comfortable working cross-functionally
- Comfort with analyzing data and identifying trends
- Demonstrated conceptual and innovative thinking

$96,400.00 - $144,600.00
