Markets Operations Business Administration sits within the Markets COO organisation and provides direct support to Markets Operations as an invested strategic partner. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring complete, timely and accurate execution across a number of activities including GOC management, Service Catalogue hygiene, Demand and Capacity planning, and certain regulatory controls such as Series 99 registration and Public/Private tagging. The role will also provide the opportunity to engage in process improvement and tooling initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Implementation and maintenance of a logical, robust GOC framework and process for Markets Operations.
  • ICSA service creation, maintenance and attestation in addition to ensuring CBDC requirements are adequately addressed.
  • Proactive management of Demand and Capacity Planning for Markets Operations and tracking of resulting required actions.
  • Management of Public/Private designation and related governance.
  • Facilitation of Mandatory Absence requirements and related communication/reporting.
  • Proactive and productive collaboration with key stakeholders across Markets, Operations, HR and compliance.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and re-align processes to ensure an optimal execution model and associated controls.
  • Professionally managing ad hoc, urgent requirements with tight deadlines.
  • Providing timely, clear and targeted reporting on a range of activities.
  • Producing executive grade presentation material.
  • Production, tracking, and remediation of Key Performance Indicators.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience within Business Execution or Financial Management within a large global financial services firm is preferred.
  • Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive – an individual who can positively and productively add impact.
  • Independent problem-solver with high standards, attention to detail and a client-centric mindset.
  • Ability to establish and build trust with senior professionals from a range of different stakeholders.
  • Strong, influential communicator who is articulate and concise, and is confident to interact with individuals of a higher seniority.
  • Strong risk management and control mindset.
  • Provides evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information in complicated, unique and dynamic situations.
  • Strong awareness of both external and internal best practice perspectives, maintaining a balanced and fresh viewpoint.
  • Ability to conceptualize aspects of the organization’s model and its future development.
