Role / Team Overview:

The Risk Reporting and Exposure Monitoring role is critical for effectively managing and communicating the company's risk exposure. Individuals in this role provide a comprehensive analysis and reporting of inherent risks across various portfolios and support regulatory reporting. By providing a clear view of the company's risk profile, this role enables informed decision-making. This role is key to the company's overall risk management strategy, regulatory compliance and protection of financial health and reputation.

DART is responsible for:

  • Supporting intelligent risk decisions and proactive management of Citi’s risks across the enterprise 
  • Delivering risk information and analysis to help risk managers and senior management navigate complex risks and regulatory landscape
  • Providing deep expertise in risk data and dimensions in the development and production of reports and analytics
  • Designing policies, define leading practices and innovate technological tooling in performance of risk data governance and strategy roles

What you’ll do:

  • Prepare periodic Wholesale Credit Risk reports distributed to senior management and regulators.
  • Effectively manage and monitor Wholesale Credit Risk exposures, ensuring a proactive approach to risk assessment.
  • Analyze evolving regulatory reporting requirements, identifying potential gaps and proposing solutions.
  • Ensure risk reporting and monitoring processes comply with regulatory requirements
  • Build strong partnerships with stakeholders, manage challenges, and defend team solutions.
  • Act as a liaison between business units and risk management to ensure alignment on risk-related issues.
  • Ensure alignment with firm-wide data governance standards and architectural principles.
  • Manage documentation supporting covered processes.
  • Demonstrates and inspires curiosity in seeking new ways to overcome challenges; actively applies learning from failures.
  • Focuses on highest-priority work aligned to business goals; helps others effectively manage competing priorities.
  • Engages key stakeholders early and often and actively looks for opportunities to improve collaboration in achieving common goals
  • Takes personal accountability for escalating, identifying, and managing potential risk; implements controls that enhance the client experience and operational effectiveness..
  • Proactively seeks to understand and act in alignment with organizational decisions; helps others prioritize team and enterprise success over their own personal agenda.

What we’ll need from you:

  • 2-5 years relevant experience, ideally from Financial Institutions.
  • Previous experience in risk management and/or regulatory reporting, data management will be a plus.
  • Degree in a quantitative or financial discipline is preferred.
  • Experience in performing data analysis.
  • Experience with documentation management, writing and reviewing procedures.
  • Experience in developing Tableau dashboards, process automation and Excel preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with emphasis on MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task based on business needs.
  • Capability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Quick learning ability with excellent communication skills, team orientation, and ability to collaborate with different teams.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Solid work ethics with ability to prioritize tasks and work against deadlines.
