Community Dev Intmd Analyst - C11 - NEW YORK
U.S. Community Relations (USCR) is seeking a Program Associate to support the U.S. Volunteers team. The U.S. Volunteers team collaborates across Citi’s U.S. footprint to promote and support volunteerism (e.g. traditional hands-on activities to skills-based volunteering) that harnesses the enthusiasm and expertise of Citi's employees. This role will support the U.S. Volunteers Team’s year-round priorities to include planning and execution of Citi’s flagship Global Community Day and financial education campaigns. The Program Associate will report to the Senior Vice President, U.S. Volunteers Team Lead.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, execution and event management efforts for Citi’s annual day of service, Global Community Day. Key activities include: designing, managing and recruiting for New York City events and select national activities; managing volunteer resources; drafting event communications; providing tools and support to regional colleagues; and supporting national and local level visibility efforts
- Support U.S. Volunteers team on planning and execution of year-round financial education campaigns
- Support USCR Regional Teams to include reporting, volunteer and Volunteer Leader recruitment, enhanced #CitiVolunteers storytelling across internal and external communications channels
- Manage select vendor relationships on behalf of the U.S. Volunteers team in support of year-round volunteer programming
- Manage sourcing and distribution of branded merchandise, including volunteer t-shirts
- Serve as a resource to business and corporate functional units by providing technical assistance on matters related to volunteer engagement
- Manage the Citi Volunteers Inbox to provide customer service to internal inquiries related to year-round volunteer programming
- Support U.S. Volunteers team in expense management processes as needed
- Handle the sourcing and completion of external award applications as well as draft internal presentations, articles and senior talking points on volunteer engagement
- Plan and execute internal and external volunteer engagement programs and other special projects as appropriate
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3+ years prior office experience
- Community engagement or philanthropy experience a plus
- Excellent relationship and project/program management
- Detail-oriented, reliable, professional and ability to multi-task
- Highly proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and ability to quickly learn new software programs
- Ability to work across business lines, collaborate and interact with all levels of colleagues
- Superior written and verbal skills
- Flexible/adaptable to change
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written); customer service mind-set
- Ability to work with staff to problem solve and troubleshoot general inquiries
- Work well in a fast-paced environment as a team player, with tight deadlines and changing priorities

$78,320.00 - $109,280.00
