The position of Senior Financial Analyst combines two financial aspects: General Ledger (GL) accounting and Reconciliation (Corporate reporting).

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and posting GL entries based on reports from sub-ledgers
• Reviewing payments and posting related entries
• Clearing open items in Accounts Payable and Receivable, data analysis of detected discrepancies
• Timely execution of month-end-close activities. Performing financial reporting and reconciliation tasks
• Preparing and reviewing tailored investment reports Daily liaison with other functions within Citi and business partners (Finance, Global Fee Billing team, Fiduciary Services, Trust Officers, external vendor)
• Preparing & reviewing supporting documentation for internal & external audit purposes
• Dealing with ad-hoc and outstanding queries, resolving complex accounting and reporting
• Implementation of process enhancements and task management

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in GL accounting or audit / financial reporting is a must – minimum 3 years
• Previous experience in supervising process and task management - minimum 1 year
• Good understanding of GL and data reconciliation process
• Relevant knowledge and seniority required
• Demonstrated leadership, project management skills
• Adequate ability to identify, mitigate, manage, resolve, and escalate risks and issues
• Excellent written and oral English
• Excellent MS Excel skills & analytical mindset. Good communication & time-management skills
• Proactiveness & multitasking skills • University Degree - preferable in Finance, Accounting, Tax or Economy
